ej E.J. Fontaine

E. J. Fontaine is a founding member of Amik Management and Executive Search, as well as a founding partner of Manitoba’s premiere Aboriginal jobs referral website Amik.ca.

As President/C.E.O. of Anishinabek Consultants Inc., a 100% owned and operated Aboriginal consulting firm based in Winnipeg, E.J. has built a solid reputation assisting Aboriginal peoples and organizations in finding quality employment opportunities, and designing results-oriented HR development strategies and training plans.   

Under E.J.’s guidance, Anishinabek has provided extensive consulting services and expertise to major Canadian clients, including Indian Residential Schools Resolution Canada, EKOS Research Associates Ltd., Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak, East Side Planning Initiative and many more.

Mr. Fontaine is a member of the Sagkeeng First Nation, Manitoba. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Manitoba, and his past professional experience includes serving as Economic Development Advisor for Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs for nine years, and holding senior management positions in many Aboriginal service delivery agencies in Manitoba.

eva Eva Wilson-Fontaine

Eva Wilson-Fontaine is a member of the Peguis First Nation. Her professional career has been in the social services field where she began as an Administrative Assistant and eventually progressed to the senior position of an Aboriginal social services organization. Over the past six years she has worked with her business partner in developing a credible consulting company that has conducted business with many federal and provincial government departments and Aboriginal communities and organizations across Canada. She is proud to state that she is a co-founder of the popular Amik.ca website that is known for connecting quality employers with quality Aboriginal job seekers.

In addition to her entrepreneurial achievements, she has been involved in the important area of providing form filler and Resolution Health Support Worker services to survivors of Indian Residential Schools. She has gained a reputation as being a knowledgeable resource for survivors and communities searching for information related to the Indian Residential Schools Settlements Agreement. Currently she is the manager of Anish Corporation that is contracted by First Nations and Inuit Health to deliver Resolution Health Support Worker Services to survivors across Manitoba and oversees a northern and southern office with a staff of four Resolution Health Support Workers and an Administrative Assistant.
